Which one will you be in? Hearts, Brains, Eye or Skulls?
At the end of the day we’ll collect your lanyard, but you get to keep your name badge in your memory folder.
All you need to bring on the day is a drink and some lunch. Drinks bottles can be refilled on site, but there will be no catering facilities available.
We supply all stationary for the workshops too so no need for pen or pencils.
There’ll be a shop on site for MedicFest merch you may want to purchase. The shop will only be able to take card payment.
Comfy, cool clothes are the order for the day! There are a few sporty activities in the sport workshop so trainers are a must. (nothing too strenuous btw!)
We don’t want to give too much away, but after registration you’ll head off to your first workshop and then rotate around four workshops in total. Each workshops is between 60 and 70minutes long.
You’ll complete 2 workshops in the morning and then 2 more after lunch.
At the end of the day you’ll be given your stickers, memory folder for your worksheets and your copy of The Big Book of Body Experiments to continue the fun at home.
Our team is experienced in delivering workshops to children across the
UK with our regular term time work in schools. (we’ve been around since 2009!) They are all fully trained and have been through an enhanced DBS check to work with us.
We have a huge range of specialisms in our team too, including:
Each day has a team lead and you will be able to see all members
of the team when you leave your child with us.
Over the day, your child will experience using some amazing equipment that explores their own physiology, senses and quirks of the human body!
Your child will be able to use some brilliant sports science equipment to see how they compare to some of the world’s best athletes.
