About The MedicFest Mini Camps!
Who is this for & How Much?
The MedicFest Mini is for children in years 4 to 8 from Sept 2026 (aged 8 to 13). It is perfect for childen who are obsessed with medical programmes, how the body works or anything related to STEM!
There are 2 sessions that will run each day:
Main Session 9:30 – 3pm, with an hour for parents to drop in anytime until 4pm – only 30 places available per day.
Tickets are £59 and you can pay in 2 instalments.
SEND Session 4pm – 5:30pm, where children with SEND needs can attend with their parents or carer – only 10 children places per session.Â
Tickets are £20 and you only need one for the child and adult to attend the SEN session.Â
Both events come with a goodie bag that includes a water bottle, stationery, badges, stickers and a copy of The Big Book of Body Experiments!

- Limited tickets - only 30 per event for the main session
- Only 12 SEND places for the dedicated 90minute session at the end of the day - child and parent can attend together.
What's Does a Day Look Like?
- Drop off from 9:30am and pick up from 3pm
- 5 hands-on workshops using real medical kit
- Special worksheet for each workshop to take home
- Print outs of their own ECG to stick on the fridge!
- Goodie bag including stickers, badges and a water bottle included with the ticket!
- 3pm to 4pm parents can drop in to see what we've been up to over the day before picking your child up!
What activities will there be?
Across 5 sessions, attendees will be able to play with some amazing medical & sports science tech, including:
- An ultrasound machine to see inside their own body!
- A vein scanner that makes their veins glow!
- Record and print their very own ECG from their heart
- Try their hand at keyhole surgery (not on each other 😉
- Take blood from a fake arm, using a real needle!
- See inside their own eye ball with an ophthalmoscope!
Where & When are they?
We’re running TEN MedicFest Minis throughout July & Aug 2026. Each one kicks off at 9:45am and finishing around 3pm, where parents can drop in until 4pm to see what we’ve been up to across the day.Â
The special SEND session starts just after 4pm for 90 minutes where parents and children can attend together.Â
